I used to believe that I was safe from being humiliated if I would let every distraction interfere with my choice to take empowered action.
I realize now that the reason I believed that was because I bought into other people’s criticism of me and became afraid of my own power.
I realize now that being afraid of other people’s criticism was me already not being in my power.
So it was a really good thing that they criticized me so that I could see how quickly I abandoned myself and I gave in to their fears.
I also realize now that the propensity to abandon myself is the reason that I attracted people who would abandon me.
I attracted them so I could see that a primary lesson I came into this life to learn was to stay in my power no matter what other people said.
They didn’t do it to me, they did it for me so I could see my weakness and rise above it.
I love myself. I am so grateful that I am seeing this now. Thank you, Divine, for teaching me this now so I can stay in my power no matter what other people are saying or doing.
I also realize now that as soon as I learn this lesson and am no longer abandoning myself in the face of criticism I will cease attracting people who will criticize me.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Divine, for teaching me this now.
It is done!
