How do you “Let Go”, when you want something really badly?
If not being attached to the outcome is so important, why even bother setting goals?
Have you ever wondered how you let go, when you want something really badly?
Did you then wonder if “setting goals” was actually a waste of your time?
In previous years, personal development programs taught principles that seemed to suggest that we write out our goals, with deadlines for accomplishing them, then we PUSH and push and DRIVE and drive ourselves like mad until we made it happen!
Sound familiar?
Lest ye be discouraged that all those previous personal development programs were a waste of time, let’s first acknowledge that knowledge is built upon knowledge, and that societal evolution IS a true principle! All of those teachers were right, but it was an incomplete understanding that drove our response. You’re now being taught to “lightly hold the deadline, so as to trust that the Law of Attraction is bringing ‘it’ to you!”
We now comprehend that the Universe does not speak English, or any other language; It speaks the language of vibration, so your feelings are what send the request!
Let me explain. When you set a goal, you have served yourself by identifying what you want, and writing it down served you to remove it from your subconscious mind, and put it into your conscious mind, where you can think about it until you FEEL like you already have it, and THAT feeling sends the vibration that attracts it to you!
The feeling sends the vibration of your request to the Universe; Not your words!
So, if you have thought about it until you feel like you have it, THAT sent the request that created it! YOUR JOB IS DONE! Now comes the Universe’s job; To move all the pieces of the puzzle of the Universe to bring the components of what you want to you! When you receive a prompting of some action or another to take, take it! That is literally all you have to do!
Now let’s consider the message that you’re sending when you KEEP ASKING AND ASKING and asking…..
You’re actually, then, sending a vibration of not having it yet! What do you get back when you send that message? NOT having it!
It’s as if you are not at all trusting that it’s on it’s way!
TRUST, by just feeling great about it, as if you already have it!
What vibrational message are you sending when you are attached to a particular outcome, within a particular timeframe (deadline)?
It’s as if you are dictating policy to God!
And that actually causes you to misread which piece of your requested pie the Universe is sending to you with the promptings that you have been given!
If, for example, the Universe prompts you to take a resume to that pretty office building on the corner, in response to your vibrational request to attract your dream job, you could get very upset if you don’t get a job there, and miss, altogether, the fact that while you were in there, the Love of your Dreams was trying to flirt with you and get your phone number, which, had you paid attention, could have answered your vibrational request to find the Love of your Life!
YOU do not know which piece of the puzzle is being supplied with each prompting!
If you start a business and are attached to thinking that this prompting for starting that business was going to make you rich, you could feel disappointed if it doesn’t work out the way you thought, and fail to realize that in the process of building that business that you were inspired to build, one of your children met influential people who later supply their college scholarship! And THAT was what the Universe was supplying with that prompting all along!
Never stoop to being attached to outcomes! Being attached is a sign of resistance… Resistance to what? Resistance to having whatever experience you are trying to not have! It is fear based.
Resistance prevents you from being able to receive it (what you want)! Let go….and TRUST! Your creative work is done after you’ve FELT IT (VIBRATED IT) as if you already have it! Then, just follow the promptings as they come, and BE HAPPY!
Do you worry if the sun will come up tomorrow? No. Why? Because you just know! THAT is trust. You never spend time thinking about what you know and trust; It just is!
You don’t have to beg the Universe to supply what you’ve vibrationally requested; It is automatic!
YIPPEE!
