The Seven Steps of Goal Accomplishment

1. Determine what you want. You can have anything you want, as long as you don’t NEED it! Remember to feel it as if you already have it!

2. Write your goals down on paper! Otherwise, it’s just a wish. Remember that goals must be smart; specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timed.

3. Determine the price you have to pay to have it; More work hours for a while? More education to get credentialed? Upgrade your skills? This may include eliminating other activities that don’t move you toward accomplishing the goal.

4. Make a plan. Write specific action steps, then organize them in order of priority.

5. Take action of some kind immediately! Delay allows time for worry!

6. Do something EVER DAY that moves you toward the goal! Take action daily! Use the “six most important things to do today” list! Tackle each item on that list with your full attention before moving to the next item!

7. Decide NEVER to QUIT! If one thing isn’t working, don’t quit, RE-DIRECT! Re-directing is not the same as quitting! You are not quitting on your dreams; You are simply changing the method of getting there!
