Life Mission Statements

Mission statements differ from goals in that goals will change as you grow, and accomplish them; Mission statements never change! The mission is the reason you are wanting to make all that money, and the reason you want to accomplish those goals! The mission is the wind beneath the wings of your goals. It’s what lights your fire and catapults you into the action of life!

I do ONLY those things which move my life mission forward! I have learned to “respectfully decline” to do anything that does NOT move my life’s mission forward. The verbiage I use causes them to respect my decision, and they NEVER push and push to try to make me say “yes”. I say, “I have considered my life’s mission, my purpose, and I respectfully decline from accepting your invitation, as this endeavor does not move my life’s mission forward. I think it’s wonderful that it does move your life mission forward, and I support you in doing it!” They usually say, “Wow. That’s powerful. Okay then!”

I humbly submit to you, my personal life’s mission statement:

My purpose is to live abundantly in every possible way, including intellectual pursuits, financial abundance which yields time freedom, emotional fulfillment through close, interdependent personal relationships, loyal, interdependent business relationships, and spiritual awakening, which yields tremendous personal power! I travel the world, together with the Love of my Life, and frequently my children and other family members, looking for new perspectives with which to further expand my consciousness. I spread joy and freely share wealth with everyone who’s products and services enable me to enjoy my life experience. As a result of my financial abundance, I leave a legacy of empowering single mom’s to attend college, through the perpetual scholarships that I have funded. I further equip the world to raise to the level of greatness that they desire, by teaching others the energy medicine techniques that will allow them to walk in abundant health. Included in the inspiration I offer to others, is the knowledge that they, too, can have, do and be, anything they want to have, do and be. I affirm the divinity within myself, and affirm the divinity of all people I have the privilege of encountering in this life experience.

Here is an example of a friend’s mission statement:
The purpose of my life’s existence is to inspire others to recognize their connection to all animals, and therefore respect all animal life. Through my online businesses, I create a financial fortress that my children and I use to educate humanity about these principles. I fund a resort wherein handicapped children can be made whole as a result of interacting with animals as therapists.

Here is the mission statement of this wonderful company I have the privilege of working for: Our purpose is to create a lifetime of success through coaching excellence, superior support, and continuing education opportunities.

Write one! It will give you energy every time you read it! Use powerful words; google them if it will help you find some! Don’t use generic words like “help people”. That’s too generic to inspire you! Use words like ignite, infuse, empower, inspire, create, legacy, abundant. Then, print it out and re-read it often!

Before you know it, you will BE THAT PERSON, and be LIVING THAT LIFE!
