Ongoing education

Ongoing education in all aspects of your life!

Indian Nobel Prize winning poet and playwright, RabindrahathTagore, says, “The highest education is that which does not merely give us information, but makes our life in harmony with all existence.

Since we know our minds are capable of much more than we generally use it for, why nor continue learning throughout our lifetime? Not to mention the many, many rich and famous people who have grown rich and famous with little or no formal education!

Author and speaker Jim Rohn says it this way, “Formal education will make you a living. Self education will make you a fortune!”

Consider the various facets of your life, and then ask yourself, “ Which of these educational methods would I enjoy exploring for continuing my education?”

Books, educational/spiritual television, magazines, online magazines, trade organizations, trade journals, classes at local universities (including monitoring), free seminars, online teleconferences, online newsletters, audio/visual programs, public speakers, online presentations from public speakers, mentorships/apprenticeships, online communities, online mastermind groups, online self awareness tests.

Start by writing a list of everything that you think you might like to learn which can further each aspect of your life. It doesn’t mean that you have to do all of it now, but having the list written can actually begin the process of attracting the opportunity into your life! Then, you can follow your promptings about when, and in what order of priority, you proceed with your educational pursuits.

Famed businessman Lee Iacocca makes a valid point, however, regarding obtaining education, whether formal or informal, “Apply yourself! Get all the education you can, but then, by God, do something. Don’t just stand there! Make it happen.”

I like his style! Now, get out there and take action!

I like the idea of an on-line mastermind group; How do I connect with such a group?
