Risk Analysis in 1-Minute

One minute decision
Imagine a situation where the entrepreneur sees an emerging new technology on “networking. This idea is just out in the market – and not many have embraced or even tried it. His inner hunch says that this technology could rule the world in a few years, and his mind formulates numerous ways of utilizing that technology. But, there is no proven record for it. In this situation, a non-risk taker, or one who follows the crowd would wait for someone to take the risk, hold off and not act on his instinct. But a risk taker follows his heart. He trusts and gives complete thought to all his instincts – he never waits for some one to make a move – and then follow them as a copy-cat.

He feels the potential in the new idea, and so researches thoroughly on the newly emerged technology, the pros and cons, and the possible applications of this technology in the existing markets, and potential new markets. This would make him a pioneer in his business – being able to take the calculated risk, and incorporate the “new in his business model. This will also help him to champion the ways to innovate / invest in innovations that employ this technology. The risk taking attitude of the entrepreneur will make him an innovator and a leader!
