As the “on demand” trends evolve, the consumer gains more and more control over the media. A good example is TiVo. Projections indicate that TiVo will control 80% of the market within five years. As the on demand trend continues to develop, media distribution will evolve from horizontal to vertical distribution. This is changing everything in the mass media, including advertising agencies.
