Remember that “News” will move markets any way it wants to. Last Friday Washington was no closer to any kind of a deal on the fiscal cliff. The market reacted in a big way with a big down day. Now Washington is home for Christmas. However they are coming back later this week to try and avoid the cliff. Here is what Art Cashin says about going over the cliff if it were to happen:
