Success in Trading By this time in your trading career you should already have some success. You may have only paper traded or have ventured into live trading. The point I am trying to make is, that whichever stage you are in with your trading, you probably already have had success. 

I remember many years ago when I first started trading. I got into a paper trade on APPLE computers and realized a gain of $400 dollars in just a few days. Yes it was a paper trade, but I still remember how excited I was and thought to myself, that this is the greatest way to make money in the world. You may recall how excited you were on your first trade. Some may be there today. This excitement that you are experiencing or have experienced is success. By all means it’s successful!!! 

I want you to really think about those emotions and dwell on them for minutes, hours, days and years. These experiences are critical and helpful to your advancement in your trading career. Sharing your experiences is so important that we here at Prosper, Inc try to get you to share and express your successes on a regular basis. If you have not already been requested by your individual coaches to brag or share your life changing experiences with us, then take the initiative and ask your coach if he/she would be willing to listen to what great changes have occurred these last couple of weeks or months since your trading began. 

The more you share, the more successful you will be. This is why we have pre-call forms before each session each week to encourage you to share your insights and experiences. This is why we have you start paper trading so quickly and continue non-stop throughout your coaching sessions. This is why we are constantly probing you for your trades, to see if we can get that excitement to come out. It’s a powerful tool. Many of you have already shared your successful trades or experiences with your coach. If you have not done so, again, I ask you to please provide some experiences with us. Write in your trading journal all about your trades. Not just the facts but the emotions and thoughts you have about that particular trade. Tell your friends and loved ones how well you are advancing in your learning of the market. Many of you have sent pictures and even left messages on the phone telling of these great successes you have had. We know your success will continue as you put forth the effort and continue to share your stories. We encourage you to brag about your trades. Tell us how the market is treating you. How has the bear market or the bull market affected you and your trades.  

These are the questions we want you to think about and answer as you share your experiences with your coaches. 

1.    What experiences have transpired as you have applied the methodologies received from you coach? 

2.    What actual trades have you made that show these skills in action?

3.    What new goals have you made for the next 3,6,12 and 24 months?

4.    How can you achieve these goals using what you have learned from one-on-one coaching? 

You may be able to answer them all now, or just a few of them. As you learn more from your personal coach, you should share more experiences. You will see your coach join in your excitement. Our greatest reward is to see the success of those who apply themselves and share their experiences with others. No better place to start sharing than with your coach.

Send us your experiences, send us your stories, send us a voicemail, and even send us a picture of yourself and your family so we can see how excited you are and the life changing experiences you are having.
