Graduate Call Notes 12-18-14: Q and A

Discussion on taking action on what inspires you:

Today on our real estate graduate call we had many students involved. This was our Question and Answer graduate call for the month. One student named Dave from Capital Region, NY discussed his work history so far in his life. He mentioned that he had worked hard in college to do his best and really worked at finding a good paying job. He mentioned that when most people were making minimum wage at $7.00 an hour that he was making $10.00 and he was thrilled. It wasn’t until later that he was amazed to find out his boss at work was making $15.00 an hour which at the time seemed like an amazing amount of money.

Over time Dave mentioned he was compelled to do other types of work and at one time he drove a semi-truck for a few years. He mentioned that this allowed him to listen to all types of motivational speakers. People like Anthony Robbins, Carlton Sheets, Russ Whitney, and Russ Dalbey, etc. His mentality changed about working for a company and getting a W-2 each year. He realized he was interested in spending more time working from a 1099 perspective.

Dave mentioned that for many it would seem scary not having a steady paycheck but for him it gave him a sense of self worth and freedom.

Kimberly from Seattle mentioned that she had done more of the same this year and was thrilled with the money she has been making and the freedom she has felt in doing those things have she has been inspired to do.

David from Richmond, Virginia mentioned that he felt it was important to set new goals for the new year and to take more action on those areas that really inspire you. He mentioned he wants to make much more progress on his desires in 2015 over 2014.

Dave mentioned as well that he now has been able to make much more per hour than he ever would have been able to make if he had stayed a W-2 employee working for a company. It was more risk but with time over the years it has really paid off. He even hit his record by making $1000 in just one day. He said he now feels great that he knows he has done it once which means he can do it again and again.

I mentioned the importance of having a weekly success journal that allows one to write down the successes for the week and allows one over time to see the incremental bits of progress that can be made.

We discussed not listening to our head which analyzes and want to create fear but by just taking baby steps toward your desires, which can slowly add up to monumental progress.

Ana on the call mentioned that by meeting together on this graduate call it inspires others to do more and it helps one’s self at the same time.
