Don’t leave any rock unturned. This is what I tell investors that I work with. Talk to a lot of people, shake a lot of hands, attend a lot of networking events, kiss a lot of babies, well maybe you don’t need to do this but I think you get the point. Real estate investing is a people oriented business and the more people you know, the more successful you will be in your business.
The contacts you make will be great sources of information and knowledge and will also be great potential partners. Get in the habit of telling everyone you come in contact with that you are a real estate investor. You never know who you might be talking to and what opportunities may exist with them. It usually is an easy conversation. Most of the people I tell that I’m a real estate investor are interested in what I’m doing and start firing off questions at me.
At a minimum make sure you are attending your local real estate investment clubs. You can find a list of them at creonline.com under the “Resources� link on the left-hand side of the home page.

Good Information…Anthony Robins once said it in this way “Most peoples lives are a direct reflection of thier peer groups. I understand this to mean that we have the capability of making our business and our personal lives worth a million bucks by just who we know. I’m sure you have heard the quote “it’s not what you know but, who you know.” Tim Sanders agrees when he says, ” Our Networth will eventually equal our networth.”
In your efforts to make new contacts remember what Robert Allen has to say in his book, The One Minute Millionaire about magnatism…you attract what you put out to the universe…so if your goal is to meet more people that are successful and need your business, then…. believe it, think about it, visualize it and live it. Tell your self each morning when you arise…” I am going to meet 3 new people today that either need my assistance or knows somebody that does,” or ” I am going to meet a successful person today that will feel my magnetic power and desire to do business with me.” This is all the Law of Attraction……We have the power to make anything happen that we sincerely desire.
Since our imagination is always going to “take the day” when it comes into conflict with our will, why not imagine the best, why not imagine what we want.
